A pickup allegedly driven by self-described epileptic Akaradej Udomrat killed two people and injured 15 last week in Pattaya. Mr Akaradej faces driving and drug charges. Akaradej Udomrat told police after the accident on Monday morning that he fell unconscious behind the wheel after suffering a seizure. He tested positive for a type of methamphetamine, Pol Col Aphichai said, citing the medical report. Mr Akaradej crashed his car into motorcycles taking students to classes on South Pattaya Road, according to police.
